AtariVox+ Speech Generation

Speakatron is a macOS companion for the Magnevation SpeakJet, the chip used in devices such as the AtariVox. Click phoneme and sound pads to hear them at once through a software emulator, or send the same codes over USB serial to a real chip. Right-click a pad or dial to add it to a phrase, then speak the whole line or copy it as decimal, hex, or paste-ready 7800 BASIC speechdata. Dials set volume, speed, pitch, bend, delay, and repeat; a dictionary lookup (with letter-to-sound fallback) fills in words you do not want to spell out by hand. It is a Tikidays Software port of Mike Saarna’s speakalator, with Fred Quimby’s public-domain text-to-phoneme rules.
